First, look at the exterior of your home, or your curb appeal. Examine the exterior of your home from a quick glance from the street. What jumps out at you? What great characteristics seem waiting to be noticed?
Acknowledging this assists us in determining what actions we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't attractive on the outside with refreshed paint and blooming garden plants it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your home's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Does your house seem to say, "Hello From Your New Welcome Home" to a buyer? Touring your property with a buyer's eye, I'll recommend changes that improve Open House appeal.
I'll help you get rid of items that give the look of clutter. Table and counter tops should be clutter-free. Brick-a-brack, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' works of art should get stored away too. You need to remove the personal details from the home so buyers can imagine it as their new home.
I know exactly where a room's best features are and how to show them off. I'll note the pieces of furniture that should be put in storage, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, carpet needing to get changed, fixtures that could use brightening, and any other improvement that can easily be made to positively influence the sale.
Buyers want a house that draws them in with charm. Anything that could be "offensive" should be removed in order for your house to have general appeal during any visit.

Setting the Stage
I'll tell you when to host an Open House, because all of the improvements mesh together to create a picture of what buyers can look forward to when they consider buying your house.
Dark rooms can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like open curtains and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests take a walk-through of your home and assure a delightful scent flows from every area. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and pillows on your chairs and bedding. We want buyers to feel like your current home has the potential to be.
